She is from Shanxi Changzhi. Her aunt works at the same hotel and introduced her.
She thinks Beijing is good fun but staying at the hotel everyday is boring. She wants to go home in the new year.
This is her first day in this hotel. Each new member of staff has a 3 day trial period. Originally she would have an etiquette class today but because the hotel is at high occupancy, the manager was too busy and cancelled it. So she´s just following a fuwuyuan around picking up odds and ends.
She says ´when I graduated from middle school, I spent a year studying make up artistry, I really wanted to go to a photography studio as a make up artist, I really like the atmosphere there, but it´s hard to get in because if you don´t have any experience, no one wants you, so in order to make a living, I´ve come here to give it a go, but I´m still going to try my best to get a job at a photo studio.´
